RED BELT SIGNIFIES DANGER CAUTIONING THE STUDENT TO EXERCISE CONTROL AND WARNING THE OPPONENT TO STAY AWAY

 

 

Grading Requirements 2nd Kup

 

Ø      First two moves of Toi Gye 4 times forwards and back

Ø      X knife hand block low section, X knife hand block high section, walking stance 4 times forward and back

Ø      L stance back fist release, walking stance reverse punch 4 times forward and back

Ø      Jumping snap kicks (back leg) landing in fighting stance, 4 times forward turn around and repeat

Ø      Jumping turning kick, landing in fighting stance, 4 times forward turn around and repeat

Ø      Jumping back kick, landing in fighting stance, 4 times forward turn around and repeat

Ø      Pad work: sparring routine using hands and feet

1.      Back fist, reverse punch

2.      Front hand jab, reverse punch

3.      Hopping side kick 4 times forwards

4.      Reverse hook kick

5.      Turning kick, reverse hook kick.

(With the above sparring routines, the performer has a choice of legs)
